The Arts & Crafts movement once again influences the runway as stylized florals take over in the Ornate Botanical print trend. Leaves and petals transform into scroll-like forms while vines twine into filagree creating sumptuous, detail laden designs. The textiles and wallpaper patterns of William Morris offer a never-ending source of inspiration. Likewise, Dries Van Noten’s Spring 2017 collection presents a current interpretation of this heritage influenced style. How will you translate it?
