I'm currently in Europe trend spotting, just arrived today and my first stop is Barcelona, Spain. Fabric key trend is LINEN in both the Women's and Men's market, it is newest in the Junior's market. The linen fabric is used especially for the Romanticism trend where you'll find lots of lace, flowy tops in florals. Found this great resource for linen, Masters of Linen, a subsidiary of the CELC (European Flax and Hemp Confederation), who brings together key industry players in all stages of the flax/linen supply chain.
Here is their A/W 2012-13 Colour and Style Trend Direction. To learn more about Masters of Linen's services, go here .
