iD INTERNATIONAL EMERGING DESIGNER AWARDS
Presented in partnership with the Otago Polytechnic, the iD International Emerging Designer Awards is a design competition and one night show to be held on 17 March at the Dunedin Town Hall. It aims to recognise and reward innovative work by the next generation of designers. Entrants from throughout the world compete for cash and product prizes. This is an exciting opportunity to meet other emerging designers and high profile guest judges, develop industry contacts, receive international media coverage, and gain invaluable professional experience.
Entrants must be recent graduates (within the past five years) or final year students from a recognised Diploma, BDes, BA or MA Fashion or fashion related course. A call for applications is made each year. There are no enty fees however finalists must pay for their travel and accommodation to attend the event.
The deadline for applications for the 2016 iD Awards event is 30 November 2015.

iD DUNEDIN FASHION SHOW
A major highlight of iD Dunedin Fashion Week this show is held over two nights at Dunedin's historic Railway Station on 18 & 19 March 2016. The event's unique setting includes one of the world's longest catwalks at an incredible 120 metres. This is a retail focused show and intending designers must be commercially producing directional adult fashion. The event presents a mix of full (15 garments), capsule (5 garments) and international guest designer collections.
Designers are selected by an industry professional to ensure the event continues to maintain its professional fashion design integrity. Links to Dunedin (e.g live in Dunedin, studied in Dunedin or retail in Dunedin) are not compulsory but will be taken in to account when the selection for the iD Show is taking place. A call for applications is made each year. Fees are charged depending on the size of the collection.

ASSOCIATED EVENTS
Every year we welcome a limited number of associated events from the fashion community as part of the iD Fashion Week programme. Associated events must have a focus on fashion, accessories or design and must not duplicate an existing event organised by the Committee or conflict with the iD Fashion Week sponsor commitments. Inclusion is at the sole discretion of the iD Dunedin Fashion organising committee.
Applications are called for each year Associated events must pay a fee to cover promotional costs unless you are an iD Dunedin Fashion Show participant or an iD sponsor.
The deadline for applications to hold an associated event in the 2016 iD Dunedin Fashion Week is 30 November 2015.
