Here are FV's F/W 2016-17 Micro Trends in collaboration with Eclectic Trends for their August newsletter, Recherche'.
For the F/W 2016-17 season, the color palette that struck me the most were the pastel tones from Trendstop and Fashion Snoops. The new approach of the use of the pastel colors in the lighter shades in the sweet pinks, lilac and baby blues are combined with greys and beige tones making this palette more transeasonal in fashion and also in interior.
Pastels originated in the 15th century but gained considerable popularity in the 18th century, when a number of notable artists made pastel their primary, Jean-Baptiste Perronneau, Maurice Quentin de La Tour and Jean-Baptiste-Simeon Chardin.
Below are a few mood board inspirations curated to show you how these colors in the modern world can be combined with the use in fashion and interior. Which one is your favorite?
